I did the leg work (see what I did there) for you. With a little trial an error, I narrowed it down to 33 weight loss items to help achieve your goals a little bit faster.

Experts say you lose weight in the kitchen. From protein to meal prep, what you eat helps drop the fat and increase your lean muscle. Check out my favorite kitchen tools:
1. Food Scale

2. Unflavored Protein Powder
Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Powder. Protein is key to building muscle. And muscle helps burn fat faster. I struggle with milk, so I love this alternative organic protein powder. I add it to everything from protein shakes and smoothies to mashed potatoes.
3. Sugar Free Jello
Jell-O Cherry Flavor Sugar Free Gelatin 0.6 oz (4 Pack). Perfect for when you want a little snack without all the sugar. This keeps me on track so that I don’t stray from my lean protein diet.
4. Bariatric Cookbook
Fresh Start Bariatric Cookbook: Healthy Recipes to Enjoy Favorite Foods After Weight-Loss Surgery. Knowing what to eat and how to cook it will greatly impact your success. This is a great cookbook whether you’ve had bariatric surgery or not, and the food is jam-packed with flavor.
5. Blender
Ninja BL480 Nutri with 1000 Watt Auto-IQ Base for Juices, Shakes & Smoothies Personal Blender 18 and 24 oz. We received this for a wedding gift and I use it to make all my favorite drinks: smoothies, protein shakes, and the occasional skinny girl margarita. If you prefer to drink your protein you’ll love this. The blender turns into a cup with a lid so that you don’t have to dirty another dish. It fits perfectly into cup holders as well.

6. Seasoning
Everything Bagel Seasoning Blend . Bagel Allspice, Sesame Seasoning Spice Shaker. Ok, this is just personal preference, I add this to everything to give it a little flavor. If you haven’t heard of this, you’re welcome.
7. Meal Prep Containers
Glass Meal Prep Containers 2 Compartment Meal Prep Containers Glass (36 Ounce, 5 Pack) – These Glass Divided Lunch Containers are my favorite reusable meal prep containers. If I don’t meal prep, it throws off my entire week, I don’t have self control without it.
8. Smart Water Bottle
ICEWATER 3-in-1 22 ounce Smart Water Bottle (Glows to Remind You to Stay Hydrated) complete with Bluetooth Speaker & Dancing Lights. I’m never thirsty, it’s weird, I’ve been that way forever. As you know water is key to making your body happy and happy bodies lose weight easier. This bottle glows when its time to take a little sippy sip. It also is a Bluetooth speaker, so I use it all over the house.
9. Airfryer
Ultrean Air Fryer, 4.2 Quart (4 Liter) with LCD Digital Screen and Nonstick Frying Pot. I wasn’t sure I needed an air fryer, but after I used it once, I was hooked. They are definitely worth the hype. I make everything from chicken to apple chips in this thing.
10. Instant Pot
Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Steamer, Saute, Yogurt Maker, and Warmer. If I’m not using the air fryer to meal prep, I’m steaming something in my InstaPot. I wonder if my oven misses me. Anyhow, I highly recommend it.
11. G2 Gatorade
Gatorade Thirst Quencher, G2 Glacier Freeze and G2 Fruit Punch, 12 Ounce Bottles (Pack of 24). G2 is a low sugar Gatorade to help you refuel after a workout without all that extra sugar.
12. Crystal Light
Crystal Light BlackBerry Lemonade Liquid Drink Mix (1.62 oz Bottle). I love water enhancers, this one is yummy. if you are getting sick of the regular H20. This helps fight the temptation of soda, it’s my go-to when I feel like a sweet drink
13. Protein Bars
Pure Protein Bars, High Protein, Nutritious Snacks to Support Energy, Low Sugar, Gluten Free, Variety Pack, 18 Pack. I cannot stress enough how much a love these. If I’m not having a protein shake this is my favorite on the go meal.
14. Superfood Pouches
NOKA Superfood Pouches (6 Flavor Variety) 6 Pack . Who doesn’t want to feel like a kid again with these squeeze pouches? A great snack substitute when you are on the go.
Medicine Cabinet
Vitamins and supplements are very important, especially if you are post-op for bariatric surgery. Check with your doctor on the right fit for you. Here are the items in my medicine cabinet
15. Flintsone Vitamins
Flintstones Vitamins Chewable Multivitamins with Iron, 60 Count. Before you start laughing, there are dosing for adults on Flintstones vitamins, even better, they are cheap! I’m a little iron deficient (and I mean who isn’t), so I love these to help keep me balanced.
16. Liquid B-12
Solgar Sublingual Liquid B-12 2000 mcg with B-Complex, Suitable for Vegans, 59 Servings, 2 Fluid Ounces. My stomach doesn’t handle pills to well, so I opt for liquid or chewable meds whenever I can. I don’t drink coffee, yes I know that’s odd, but B12 is the perfect pick me up. I take a dropper every day during the 2pm slump.
17. Biotin

18. Calcium
Fusion Calcium Soft Chews. I love the ways these taste, I treat it like a little snack at night. These help with bone and metabolic support.
19. Mylanta Gas Minis
Mylanta Gas Minis. Ok let’s get real for a minute…if you are overhauling your diet, you are going to get a little gas. If it becomes overwhelming, try these chewables.
Workout Attire
The right workout attire is key to getting the most out of your workout. Sure I wear the same clothes for lounging on the couch, but what can I say they are multipurpose. These are staples in my workout wardrobe.
20. Leggings
90 Degree By Reflex Power Flex Yoga. Just bought these, I love the high-waisted band and the fact the leggings don’t slip down when I’m doing squats. These leggings are a great price and come in several beautiful colors. Complete with a pocket that holds your phone in snug during your workouts.
TSLA workout Compression leggings. These moisture-wicking leggings release heat and keep you feeling cool during your workouts. These performance-enhancing leggings also help block out the sun’s UV rays, they are perfect for outdoor workouts. It comes in a variety of fun colors to fit your mood.
21. Sports Bras
AKAMC 3 Pack Women’s Medium Support Cross Back Wirefree. These sports bras are available up to size 3XL with a medium sport for your average workout. They are functional but also look fantastic under a backless top.
22. Sneakers
Nike Women’s Tanjun Running Shoes. Nike’s are my favorite workout sneaker, you can’t go wrong with any style.
Nike Men’s Air Max LTD 3 Sneakers. Not only this a great looking shoe, but it’s also great for a performance shoe. The shoe flexes and moves with you.
23. Workout Tanks
CNJUYEE Yoga Tops. I love a workout tank that’s functional and fashionable. I also wear this outside of the gym during the hot summer months. This tank is comfy, lightweight, and breathable during your power workouts.
FEIXIANG Tank Tops . This tank top is comfy, lightweight, and made of quick-dry material. The moisture-wicking material is also perfect for the hot summer months.
Home Workouts
We are in unprecedented times as we all work through the coronavirus pandemic. In my state was on full lockdown, so I made my own gym at home. Fortunately, I was able to set up a small space for home workouts. Here are the items I got delivered to help me keep up with my routine.
24. Exercise Bike
Marcy Recumbent Exercise Bike with Resistance ME-709. I love the backrest on this bike, its similar to the one I use at my gym, easy to put together too.
25. Fitness Tracker
Fitbit Versa 2. I love a smartwatch. I traded in my Samsung Galaxy for the Fitbit Versa 2 and I’m so glad I did. It lightweight, syncs to my scale, Alexa, and my phone for a cheaper price.
26. Weights
ATIVAFIT Adjustable Dumbbell. If you can’t get to the gym, these transition weights are perfect for home workouts and it takes up a lot less room than having multiple bars. It’s worth the price.
27. Treadmill
SereneLife Smart Electric Folding Treadmill. If you can spare the room, treadmills are a great way to get your steps in every day. If it’s too much money or space, walk outside to hit your step count in.
28. Yoga Matt
BalanceFrom GoYoga All-Purpose Perfect for floor work, situps, and yoga. I like that it comes with a carrying strap so you can bring it to a class at a yoga studio with ease.
29. Weight Scale
Etekcity Digital Weight Scale, Smart Bluetooth Body Fat Scale. This scale syncs with my smartphone and Fitbit and has a max weight of 400lbs.
30. Resistance Bands
Tribe 11 piece Resistance Bands. Bands are a great way to tone muscles if you don’t have a lot of weights at home. I love these bands because they take up very little room but also give me a great workout.
Workout Apps
Apps are a great way to track your progress. You can workout, track weight loss and stream a variety of workout content. These are some of our favorites.
31. Weight Loss Tracking App
Noom. This has become my favorite food tracking app. Noom helped me break my weight loss stall, with their simple way of tracking. It’s so easy, you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it before.
32. Workouts on Demand
Beach Body on Demand. This is how I stay on track. Its free to sign up, setup a goal and a meal plan, then stream your favorite workouts. Its a one stop shop for health and weight loss goals. I’m currently obsessed with PIYO. You’ll love the fitness guides and community support.
33. Workout Videos
Youtube has a lot of free workout content to take advance of. My guilty pleasure is 1980s workout videos, oh the nostalgia. Here’s one of my favorite gems, my Mom used to dance to this on the regular. Don’t worry, they have up to date workouts as well. Weight loss is so much easier when you can have a little fun in your workouts.
